CERTIFICATES OF SPECIALIZATION
These certificates of Specialization offer specific training
either for entry-level positions or to augment related programs
such as Telecommunication Technician or Web Development. They
are designed to demonstrate a relatively narrow expertise or
skill area that may be used to attain a “niche” job or expand
your professional skill set.
Students who wish to enroll in specific Microsoft applications
(e.g. Word, PowerPoint) should refer to Business Office Technology.

Cisco Networking Academy is a global education program that
teaches students how to design, build, troubleshoot, and secure
computer networks, along with providing career skills
such as problem solving, collaboration, and critical thinking.
The Academy delivers a comprehensive, 21st century learning
experience to help prepare students for Information and Communication
Technologies (ICT) and networking careers in virtually every
type of industry.

The Cisco Network Professional provides students with instruction to become Cisco
Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certified. The curriculum provides students
with the knowledge and skills needed to plan, implement, secure, maintain, and
troubleshoot converged enterprise networks. It delivers a theoretically rich, hands-on
learning experience covering advanced routing, switching, and troubleshooting skills.

CISCO NETWORKING ACADEMY
Curriculum, assignments and examinations are available online

Cisco Network Academy website.
Computer programmers design, write, and test logical structures
in order to solve computer problems and enhance software interaction.
Programmers write code according to specifications provided
by computer systems analysts and software engineers.
The Computer Support Technician certificate prepares students for entry-level
positions as a Computer Support Technician. Students will learn the fundamentals
required to provide initial analysis, testing, and troubleshooting and repair of
existing computers, computer cabling and local area networks (LANs). Students will
participate in a theoretically rich, hands-on learning experience.
Provides students with the knowledge they need to design and
implement effective, dynamic websites. Students participating
in this program should have basic computer and HTML proficiency.
