Absolute Links

To link to a file on another Web site, just paste the URL into the link box in the properties inspector.

Relative Links

To link to a file within your site, click  the point to or folder icons to the right of the link box in the properties inspector.

E-mail Links

screen shotUse the button in the Common Objects panel or enter the e-mail address in the link box with a  mailto: prefix.

Linking to a spot on a page (Named Anchors)

  1. Use the Invisibles Objects Panel or the Insert Menu to insert a named anchor at the spot you want to jump to.  
  2. Give the Anchor a meaningful name.

  3. When you make the link, you can click the point to icon and drag to the anchor OR enter the name of the anchor preceded by the # sign.

When you see the movie icon next to a question, click it to view a narrated Video Tutorial.  You'll need a high-speed connection or plenty of time to view these large files.  You'll also need the  Windows Media Format plug-in if you don't already have it.  You can also right click the icon and "Save Target As" to download the file.
