The Articulation Office exists to establish clear transfer pathways so that students have a smooth and timely transition from Cuyamaca College to a senior institution. The Articulation Officer works with representatives from public and private four-year colleges and universities to develop and maintain course-to-course articulation agreements. The Articulation Officer ensures that California State University (CSU) General Education Breadth list, the Intersegmental General Education Transfer Course (IGETC) list, the University of California Transfer Course Agreement list, and the CSU Baccalaureate list are accurate and appropriate. The Articulation Officer works hand-in-hand with faculty members to develop new courses; revise existing courses; establish new degree programs and certificates; modify degrees and certificates as needed; update general education requirements; and help to ensure compliance with Title V on curricular matters. Curriculum alignment with Grossmont College is a high priority of the Articulation Office. The Articulation Officer also facilitates compliance with state projects including SB 1440 and C-ID.
