Program Description
The Computer Information Systems program builds a strong "hands-on" foundation in the use of microcomputers to solve a broad range of problems. Information is provided and skills are developed in basic computer literacy involving hardware and software; in word processors, spreadsheets, graphics; and in becoming skilled in advanced computer applications such as desktop publishing, programming and telecommunications.

Certificate Of Achievement
Any student who chooses to complete only the major requirements qualifies for a Certificate in Computer Information Systems. To receive a certificate, an official request must be filed with the Admissions and Records Office prior to the deadline as stated in the Academic Calendar
