Objectives of This Curriculum

The objectives of this curriculum are to assist you to do the following:

  • Understand policies of various technology transfer programs
  • Recognize technology transfer opportunities
  • Understand how technology transfer mechanisms are used to establish partnerships
  • Understand different types of intellectual property and their importance to both public and private sector
  • Be aware of resources that will assist you in pursuing technology transfer opportunities
  • Understand terminology and acronyms
