| The Transfer Center's goal is to provide
students with the most current information to ensure a smooth transition to four-year
universities and colleges. The Transfer Center is located in Room L122, next to the
Counseling Center. Students have access to a current catalog collection of California
public universities, articulation agreements, CSU and UC admissions applications, college
handbooks and a video collection of four-year universities and private colleges. In
addition, the Center has a computer lab which allows students to access the Internet.
Students are encouraged to visit and learn how to access the various university web pages.
These are some of the top web locations for students to visit: www.csumentor.edu, www.ucop.edu/pathways and www.assist.org. The
Counseling Staff provides individual transfer academic planning and workshops on transfer
programs, admissions, financial aid and scholarship information. Representatives from
four-year universities are also available in the Center for appointments to evaluate
student records and facilitate their transfer process. For additional information about
the Transfer Center special events, stop by and pick up a monthly Transfer Center
Activities Calendar or call 660-4425. |
