Project Guidelines The Mixed Media Project is worth 10 points, or 10% of your grade for this class. Choice of Media: Your project must include at least two different artistic media in order to qualify as “Mixed Media”, such as drawing and collage, collage and assemblage (objects), painting and collage, clay and painting. Getting a good idea: Concept development of the Mixed Media Project will be discussed in class. Your instructor is always available to discuss ideas! Remember, good concepts are based on topics and themes that interest you, that you are passionate about AND are interesting to others. You must write up you idea and have it approved prior to submitting the completed project for grading. Write your idea concept in your Journal BEFORE the second Journal grading. Check the Class Schedule for this date! Getting your concept approved is your responsibility. Your project must be original: it must be your idea and your own work. The project must be done exclusively for this class between the dates of the start of class and the due date for the project. While your project might be a collaboration with one or more people, it must be your original concept and work done for this class. Failure to comply by submitting work that was previously done before the start of this class or not done by you will result in 0 (zero) points for this assignment. |
