The
Cuyamaca College Foundation is the major fund raising component of the College.
Members of the Foundation Board are committed to providing private support
for the college by:
The Cuyamaca College Foundation's mission is "to provide continuous support and resources to Cuyamaca College." Through the Foundation's efforts the College will be able to provide students with an education that truly prepares them for a rapidly changing and technology-based world. Funding from the State of California and the Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District has provided Cuyamaca College its present campus of classroom buildings, library, and physical education facilities. The State also provides annual funding for an operating budget for salaries and maintenance. Through these funding sources, Cuyamaca College is able to maintain an appropriate educational experience for its students. |

To continually meet the demands of providing state of the art facilities and learning tools, Cuyamaca College must depend on the private sector for that vital Margin of Excellence, which is the difference between an "appropriate" college experience and an "outstanding" one. The Foundation is aggressively seeking support for the Margin of Excellence. With the assistance and support of friends and alumni of the College and with private support of foundations and corporations who believe our future depends on how well we educate our citizens, we will succeed. We invite you to join us. |
