Research Assignment: Individual Art Presentation

Directions:  Prepare a 2-3 minute speaking presentation for the class about a type of VISUAL art: Painting, Posters, Prints (Graphic Art), Photography, Interior Design, Architecture, Folk Art and Design (Pottery, Weaving, Quilt Making, etc.)   Subject: You may discuss an individual artist—Examples: Pablo Picasso, Frieda Kahlo (painters), Michelangelo, (sculptor), Frank Lloyd Wright (architect), Ansel Adams (photographer) or another topic of interest to you. You may discuss a specific work of art, such as—one painting by Picasso (Guernica)—one building of interest (the Taj Mahal) or one series of photographs or posters, or an example of the sculpture, or pottery of ancient Greece, or an example of Islamic calligraphy, etc. Check with your teacher if you have any questions about your topic. NO Music or Literature, please.
