(This lab is due Tuesday, February 12, 2008) 1. Select two questions from the list of five questions below and submit reasonably well thought out answers to them on the Discussion Board on the course Blackboard site in the discussion titled, "Lab 1: Get Acquainted Forum", and adding a new Thread*. Be sure to include your name in the title of the thread. It helps keep things somewhat organized (tho' with over two dozen students it's gonna be crazy!!). *To understand how to post to a Discussion Board, I recommend watching the "Discussion Boards" video in the Quick Tutorials to learn about Blackboard (note: clicking this link should open a new window) 2. Next, wait a day or two (or a few, possibly) until others post. Then read and respond to at least two answers from one of your classmates, sharing things you may have in common, or opinions you might share, etc. You will be able to modify and delete your posts as long as no one has posted a reply to them. In fact, try removing a post of yours right after posting it so you become comfortable with the usual process for correcting mistakes. Once a reply is posted to one of your posts, your post is there for good so please be very considerate about what you post. This exercise is designed to allow us to get to know eachother, as well as to get to know an important component of Blackboard, the Discussion Board. This lab is sort of an easy 'ice-breaker' for a first lab. I don't expect they will all be this easy. Email me with questions. Enjoy! Question 1: Describe how you plan to apply what you learn from this class and why. Question 2: What have you done in the past that you are most proud of? Question 3: Why are you taking this class? Question 4: What is your favorite activity? Question 5: What are your favorite color(s) and number(s) and why
