(This lab is due Tuesday, March 25, 2008 and is worth 25 points)

Promote yourself!! Create a movie with at least one text object containing your name. Your name should be the focus of the animation and the text should be modified with tweens, masks, and filters (15 points). Demonstrate your ability to organize your objects with layers by naming them and using folders (10 points).

Do Lesson 4 in the textbook to become familiar with text and masks. Here is a video tutorial of Lesson 4 of the text.

Also, you may want to consider using text as the mask instead of an object. Here is a series of short lessons that may help give you some ideas on text tweens, morphs, and masks in addition to those in your textbook.
