(This lab is due Tuesday, April 8, 2008) OK, so it seems like we've already been doing alot of animation, but that just goes to show you how many different ways there are to animate objects in Flash. For this assignment, you will be putting to use your knowledge of the last few remaining animation features Flash offers to tell a short story about either yourself or the world you live in, or both. What could be easier? It does not need to be very long. Longer than your lab 2 assignment, but not much longer. It should have parts resembling a beginning (introduction), middle (the story proper), and end (conclusion, moral of the story, etc.). Your animation should include at least one example of these four Flash functions:
You should feel free to include things you have already learned such as motion or shape tweens or masks and text to help tell your story, but try to avoid using too much text to tell the story. I will base the remaining 5 points on overall design and how well you tell your story. Here is a video tutorial for Lesson 5 in the textbook. Here some examples of student work from Fall 2007 semester. Locate Lab 5 on the Assignments page of the Blackboard course web site and follow instructions to turn in your .fla file.
