Workplace Bullying
Over 50% of the American workforce has been bullied at work. This workshop addresses how and why bullies thrive in an organization, the damage they cause, why some may be targeted over others, how to facilitate adjustments in organizational culture, and how to "fight" the bully off with communication and conflict management skills. Activity Director Training
An Activity Director is a person who has the responsibility for developing and implementing an activity program. This class is a training course designed specifically for meeting the State Department of Aging requirements for the Activity Director position. Upon completion of this course, you will have met the Department of Health Services, Department of Aging, and Title 22 requirements for becoming an Activity Director and you will be provided a certificate issued by the California Department of Public Health. This eight week class consists of 56 hours plus you will need to complete 20 hours of volunteer work.

Smog Check Program: 2009 Update Training

The Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) requires all licensed Smog Check technicians whose license expires after January 1, 2009 to complete the "2009" Update Training Course" prior to renewing their license.

How to Become a Notary Public
New and previously commissioned notaries with the education and skills to pass the state proctored examination, detect fraud, and become successful in a new career. There is a growing need for notaries in the expanding financial, real estate, business and law professions. Become a valuable employee or own your own business. This class meets the state qualifications for new applicants and notaries that are renewing their commissions. Students will receive a state approved certificate of completion for the class in order to take the State proctored notary examination.
Instructor is from the California School of Notary Public and is a California Commissioned Notary Public and a Loan Document Signing Specialist. State proctors will allow all students to take the proctored exam after the class is completed. Bring a sack lunch.

Loan Document Signing Specialist
California's real estate industry needs notaries who would like to become Loan Document Signing Specialists. In this class, your instructor will present information on the duties and responsibilities of the Notary Public entering the loan industry as a Loan Document Signing Specialist. Upon completion of the class, you will be eligible to take an open book certification exam during the last hour of class, and receive a Certificate of Completion. Prerequisite: attending, or be in the process of obtaining, a California State Notary Public license. Bring a sack lunch.

Anyone interested in adoption, birth records, genealogy, or investigation, Lawyers, bill collectors, business owners, investigators, journalists, landlords, paralegals, or researchers will also benefit. In California, a Private Investigator license is not needed to conduct your own investigations.
