An Activity Director is a person who
has the responsibility for developing and implementing an activity
program. This class is a training course designed specifically for
meeting the State Department of Aging requirements for the Activity
Director position. Upon completion of this course, you will have met the
Department of Health Services, Department of Aging, and Title 22
requirements for becoming an Activity Director and you will be provided
a certificate issued by the California Department of Public Health. This
eight week class consists of 56 hours plus you will need to complete 20
hours of volunteer work.
