Our Philosophy |

The underlying
philosophy of the Professional Development Program at Cuyamaca College is
lifelong education. We believe that adults learn best when education
is relevant, participatory and applied. We adhere to the principle
that we are all "lifelong learners." The college vision, values and
goals, and specific policies and procedures provide the overall
guidelines and direction for Professional Development, but there is room
for individual flexibility. You are the expert regarding your own
Professional Development needs, and your active participation in the
planning and implementation of Professional Development is important. |
