Instructional Program Review is intended to provide a regular opportunity for each instructional program to evaluate its effectiveness and make appropriate changes to maintain or improve the success of the program. Program Review is data-driven and outcomes-based, to ensure that the results will be relevant and useful for each program. Authors may use Data-On-Demand, a District online resource, to obtain the data needed for their reports: this is a training workshop for 2008/09 authors. Committee members will work side-by-side with new authors to assist them in getting started. The Program Review process is intended to contribute in a positive way toward the college goals, particularly “Academic Excellence,” by having each program evaluate its success in achieving its intended goals and outcomes.

Also, where and how to integrate the graphing calculator, and testing issues. Lastly, we will open up to the group to share tips, strategies and best practices that instructors have used to enhance the learning experience in their 110 classes. So come prepare to share your favorite tip, trick or idea with the rest of the group.
