All links to
the internet (Resources or Tools), are vital to both finding scholarships
and filling out applications correctly. The Resource page will
provide various types of links to assist each applicant in the best
possible manner.
There are four links in the far left column connected to the Cuyamaca intranet, each link will provide assistance in understanding the
scholarship/application process and providing informational
resources. While links located at the bottom of the
page will help locate scholarships on the internet, fill out applications and
in writing
essay/personal statements. These resources and tools are to be
combined to maximize their effectiveness and enable every students to provide a stronger, and clearer scholarship application.
        
- Select only those scholarships that optimize your academic or personal qualities such as: Major, GPA, Ethnicity, Heritage, Community Activities, Organizations Memberships etc....
- Use ALL assets available to provide the highest quality of schoalrship package.
- Limit the number of scholarships you apply without taking-away
from your study-time.
- Fill-out Each Scholarship Application Completely, for areas that do not apply use N/A or None in the first line of the section.
- Make your references strong allies, provide each reference
with enough information about you, your background and future goals so tha they provide you with a strong reference letter of one totwo paragraphs.
- Apply For Scholarships Regardless of Your Previous Experiences.
