The Reading and Writing Center
The Reading and Writing Center at Cuyamaca College
offers learning assistance in writing, reading, ESL, research, paper
formatting, and other communication arts skills. At the Center,
you can get friendly, personal tutoring help with your course work
or take a variety of mini-courses to supplement your regular college
curriculum.
We are open to students at all levels--beginning
to advanced.

9am-5pm
Fridays 9am-noon (after the first three weeks of
the term)
The Center is located on the ground floor of the East Wing of
the Communication Arts Building, in B-167.

To use the Reading and Writing Center you must enroll every term
in a one-unit, no-credit course, entirely free of charge. Ask at
the information desk in the center how to do this. Then be
sure to log in every time you visit and log out when you complete
your session.

Mini-Courses
Earn college or degree credit taking short-term courses in English,
writing, sentence-building, creative writing, computer skills for
writers, and several other subjects soon available through the Reading
and Writing Center. Courses are offered at convenient times during
the semester and in a short-term format (4 weeks, 6 weeks, 8 weeks)
to better fit your schedule.
