Coach Beeman is in his second year at
Cuyamaca College. His first
season saw a Foothill
Conference Championship team, and two California
Community College state meet competitors. His
experience as an athlete at both
the Community College and University
levels provides a unique insight into the the
needs of today's athletes. The ability to train his athlete's
and help them prepare for the demands of NCAA institutions, makes
Coach Beeman a valuable resource for athletes desiring scholarships.
Coach Beeman feels that Cuyamaca offers a terrific
opportunity for athletes of all skill levels to train
and compete, but most
important of all, they get to enjoy the great sport of
track & field.
Coach Beeman has seen personal success in his own track & field
career. In his two seasons at the
University of California, San Diego, he
was a top ten finisher
at the NCAA Division II Track & Field Championship
(2004-05). Prior to his NCAA
success, he led Modesto Junior College to
back-to back conference and Northern California regional titles
(2002-03). At Modesto, he was two-time
conference champion in the high jump, along with
high placements in the triple and
long jumps. In both seasons, he
was a top three finisher in the California
Community College State Championships. In his
junior and senior high school seasons, at Escalon High School
(2000-01) in Modesto, CA, he earned all-league
and all-district
honors, and was a state meet qualifier.
In summary, Coach Beeman has seen and experienced what it takes to be successful at various levels California collegiate athletics, and is looking forward to helping his athletes succeed as well.
