Cuyamaca gets ready for a season of excellence in 2008
Now is the time to be a part of Coyote Women's Basketball. Coach Lorri Sulpizio has assumed the role of head coach for the Coyotes and has begun building a solid team for the upcoming season. Coach Sulpizio spent nine years at San Diego Mesa College where she led her team to an undefeated conference championship in 2002. Joining her are top-level coaches Francine Moreno and Cathy Bass, both who were a part of the Mesa College coaching staff. The trio had a history of moving players on to the next level and have seen over 50% of their players move on to play at 4-year universities.
"I could feel the energy and excitement the minute I joined this program." Sulpizio said. "The returning players, the administration, and the community are all ready for this women's basketball program to become one of the top programs in San Diego. I'm eager to help make that happen, and we've all been working hard preparing for the upcoming season."
